Has a few nicks and dings and but overall a clean guitar. Tuners are the correct Klusons but are a few years newer than the guitar. Frets are good and the mandolin has just been set up so it plays nicely.
This model has a good oldtime, bluegrass and country pedigree for stage and studio use. Getting a new one to sell is tough - every dealer out there wants one, as they are excellent mandolins.
The neck was just reset by luthier Ward Elliott so the action is low with plenty of saddle.

Comes with an original green lined hardshell case This is a 16 inch semi-hollow blonde maple thinline body identical in appearance to an ES except for a laminated maple neck no volute like the L5. Original sunburst finish and hardware, Adirondack spruce top with F holes, dating flatiron mandolins stained nicely figured maple back, sides and neck, white script silkscreened "Gibson" peghead logo, clamshell tailpiece cover, amber tuning buttons, original ebony nut, fretboard and bridge. Shows some minor player wear with a few nicks, dings and pickwear.
Plays very easy with a nice low action. I have not had the instrument apart but I was told by the seller that the cone is original. Original tailpiece and cover.
